Renee Thais Bochenek (nee Poirier)

Renee Thais Bochenek (nee Poirier), a radiant soul whose warmth and love touched the lives of so many, passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on April 29, 1976, Renee was a beacon of joy and laughter, cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

Renee’s spirit was exemplified through her dedication to family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Michael Bochenek, a partner in every sense of the word, whose life she filled with love and support. As a loving mother, she nurtured her children Alyssa Poirier, Dakota Bochenek, and Cara Bochenek with boundless affection. Her identity as a proud grandmother brought her immense joy, with Aariendia, Alaia, Amelja, Madison, and Dakota Jr. lighting up her life in the most beautiful ways.

A treasured daughter, Renee was deeply loved by her mother, Eve Poirier, and held dear in the hearts of her family. She was the cherished granddaughter of Martha (late Dave) Poirier, and her family legacy was carried on through the bonds she formed alongside her kind cousins, Ryan (Jen) Conroy, Todd (Desiree) Conroy and Nicole Partain.

Renee was also a supportive sister-in-law, offering her love and kindness to Jennifer Poirier, Wally Bochenek, Eric Bochenek, and Tina (Jeremy) Partain. She embraced her role as a dear niece and aunt to many, forever creating lasting memories that exemplified the essence of family.

Renee was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Robert Poirier, her brother, Robert Daniel Poirier, her grandparents, Jerry and Lucia Williams, and her stepson, Brian Sheets. Their absence is felt deeply, yet their memories remain entwined with the love she shared.

Beyond her family roles, Renee had a vibrant personality that shone through her hobbies and interests. She enjoyed gambling, finding excitement and camaraderie in the thrill of play. Her laughter, her stories, and the warmth of her presence will echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
