Age 68, late of Hegewisch, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. Beloved ex husband of Effey Ashby. Loving father of the late Rose Ashby. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth Hasse. Cherished stepson of Delores Ashby. Caring brother of the late Michelle Ashby and the late Lorette Evans. Dear stepbrother of Brenda Higgins and family, Terry Klein, and Debbie Thompson and family. Kind uncle of George Ramos and family and many nieces and nephews. Fond cousin of Paralee Gore and family. Dear friend of the Evans family and Keysha Harris and family. Pierre proudly and honorably served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam War.
