Mitchell Quintero, a beloved husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born on July 17, 1989 and is late of Calumet City, IL. Mitchell will be dearly missed by his surviving family and friends.


Mitchell will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his surviving family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rayna Quintero (nee Alvarez), his loving parents Efrain and Rosavelia Quintero, and his caring siblings Alexander, Erick, and Gissell Quintero.


He was the cherished grandson of Manuel and Engracia Corral as well as the late Aurelio and Lucila Quintero. Mitchell also held a special place in the hearts of his kind aunts, uncles, from both sides of the family, including Fidel Quintero, Vilma Quintero, Edith (Fidel) Herrera, Lucila Quintero, Cynthia (Jose) Esparza, Aurelio Quintero Jr., Manuel (Nelly) Corral, and Efrain (Martha) Corral.


Additionally, he was a caring son-in-law of Sergio (Veronica) Muro and Silvia (Marco) Alvarez. Mitchell will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law Sergio Muro Jr., Jonathan Muro, Yahir Muro, Victoria Marquez, Miguel Marquez as well as by many nieces and nephews whom he cared for deeply.


Beyond family ties, Mitchell was a friend to many – his kindness touching the lives of those around him. The void left by his departure is a testament to the impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him.


In his lifetime, Mitchell found joy in simple pleasures. He was a devout member of Cornerstone Church in Lansing where he found solace and community. Mitchell's love for reading enriched his life, and he often engaged in meaningful discussions stemming from the books he read. Moreover, he cherished playing board games with his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.


Mitchell's warm presence, love for his family, and dedication to his community have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by many.

Mitchell será recordado con cariño y extrañado profundamente por sus familiares y amigos supervivientes. Deja atrás a su amada esposa, Rayna Quintero (de soltera Álvarez), a sus amados padres Efrain y Rosavelia Quintero, y a sus cariñosos hermanos Alexander, Erick y Gissell Quintero.
