Kristine Szotek (nee Fox)

Age 54, late of Hegewisch, passed in the comfort of home on Sunday, March 17, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind the light of her life Emma Rose and granddaughter Lilith. Caring sister of Kevin Fox and Kathy (Jim) Fox-Laskowiecki. Cherished godmother of Alexandreana Szotek. Dear daughter-in-law of Richard and Joan Szotek. Best friend of Robin Miller.  Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her late husband Richard Szotek, parents John and Gay Fox, brother Ricky (Donna) Fox and many friends and relatives. A loving mother, sister and caring friend to all. She loved a good book, country music, Chicago Cubs and Bears. Kris was a caring and compassionate women who will be missed by all.
