Joshua Gomez, late of Hegewisch, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on February 25, 2024. Born on May 29, 2004, Joshua left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jose and Adriana Gomez, who nurtured him with unwavering love and support. Joshua leaves behind his caring siblings, Mireya (Juan) Gomez, Lilibeth (Steven) Gomez, and Bryan Gomez. He was a proud uncle to Juan Alexis Solis, Amayrani Gomez, Dylan Solis, Leilah Ramirez, Ariel, and the late Jatazara Solis. Joshua will be deeply missed by his cherished grandparents, Cirilo and Maria Cisneros.

In addition to his immediate family, Joshua was a dear nephew, cousin, and friend to many who will hold onto fond memories of his kindness and infectious laughter.

Joshua's passion for soccer was evident to all who saw him play with the South Suburban Soccer and Chivas Team. His dedication to the sport brought joy not only to himself but also to his teammates and supporters.

Joshua Gomez's presence brightened the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark of love and joy. He will be remembered for his warm heart and playful spirit. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved by so many.

Joshua Gomez, residió en Hegewisch, un amado hijo, hermano, tío y amigo, falleció el 25 de Febrero 2024. Nacido el 29 de Mayo 2004, Joshua dejó un impacto duradero en todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo.

Le sobreviven sus amorosos padres, Jose y Adriana Gomez, quienes lo criaron con amor y apoyo inquebrantables. Joshua deja atrás a sus cariñosos hermanos, Mireya (Juan) Gomez, Lilibeth (Steven) Gomez y Bryan Gomez. Era un tío orgulloso de Juan Alexis Solis, Amayrani Gomez, Dylan Solis, Leilah Ramirez, Ariel y la fallecida Jatazara Solis. Sus queridos abuelos, Cirilo y Maria Cisneros, extrañarán profundamente a Joshua.

Además de su familia inmediata, Joshua era un querido sobrino, primo y amigo de muchos que conservarán buenos recuerdos de su amabilidad y risa contagiosa.

La pasión de Joshua por el fútbol era evidente para todos los que lo vieron jugar con el equipo de fútbol South Suburban y Chivas. Su dedicación al deporte le trajo alegría no sólo a él sino también a sus compañeros y seguidores.
