Jennifer (Ell) Stepek

Jennifer Stepek, a beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 21st, 2025 at the age of 54. She left with her beloved husband John Stepek by her side. Born on June 17th, 1971, Jennifer was known for her infectious laughter, unwavering kindness, and her ability to light up any room she entered. She dedicated her life to her family and always put others before herself.

Jennifer is survived by her four children: John, Jillian, Jordan, and Jacob, and grandson Bryce, and bonus child Jesse, who were the center of her world. She was a constant source of love, support, and encouragement to them, always there to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. She was a great mother and her memory will live on in their hearts forever.

Jennifer is also survived by her mother and father, John and Joann Ell, her sister, Julie Ell, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and 4 great nephews.

A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on September 27th at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Opyt Funeral Home in Hegewisch, Illinois. Her warm spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
