Jeanne Schulman (nee Pawlik)

August 24, 1951 — June 22, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Schulman. Jeanne was born on August 24th, 1951 and passed away on June 22nd, 2023.

Jeanne was a kind and caring person who touched the lives of many. She was a beloved wife to her late husband David M. Schulman, a loving mother to Emily (Jacob) Fink, and a dear friend to many.

Jeanne led a life filled with many passions and interests. She loved to travel and believed you should see the world before you leave it. She often loved to share stories from Paris and Rome. Jeanne had a deep love of history and culture, and spent much of her time exploring these subjects in depth. Her passion for history combined with her being the daughter of a Pullman Company blacksmith led her to becoming an esteemed member of the Pullman Historical Society. Her contributions to the society will not be forgotten, as she played an integral role in preserving the history of Pullman.

In addition to her love of history, Jeanne was known for her kind heart and gentle nature. She loved animals and enjoyed performing random acts of kindness. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for others. Her love of the culinary arts led her to taking cooking classes, and she once received ServSafe certification just for fun.

Jeanne's family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.

Rest in peace Jeanne Schulman - you will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
