Helen Aniol (nee Dombrowski)

Age 96, late of Hegewisch, was born August 12, 1921 and passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Aniol. Loving mother of  Janice (William) Murawski, the late Christine Zervas and Michael (Deborah) Aniol. Proud grandmother of William (Lisa) Murawski, Jeffery Murawski, Sandra (Shane) Akins, Nicholas Zervas, Raynae (Michael) Williams,  Jeannine (Brian) Nowakowski and Keith (Nicole) Aniol. Cherished great grandmother of Kali Zervas, Joseph Williams, Thomas Williams, Dylan Williams, Hannah Williams, Matthew Murawski, Rachel Murawski,  Jessica Murawski, Allison Murawski, Nicholas Aniol, Jake Aniol, Bryce Nowakowski, Alicia Akins, Rebecca Akins and Samuel Akins. Caring sister of Stephanie (late William) Mazur. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: John and Kunegunda (nee Grucel) Dombrowski; and brothers: Edward (late Josephine) Dombrowski and Henry Dombrowski. Helen proudly and honorably served her country in the WAAC during WWII.  She was also a member of the PLAV, VFW, Chamber, Lady Lions and an excellent seamstress.
