Gertrude Bochenek

Age 96, late of Hegewisch, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Peter Bochenek Sr. Loving mother of Ronald (Carol) Bochenek Sr., Peter Bochenek Jr., John Bochenek Sr., James Bochenek and Carol (Ted) Switzer. Proud grandmother to nine and devoted great grandmother to 13. Preceded in death by parents: Casimir and Sophie (nee Augustyn) Ruzycki; sibling: Paul, Nettie, Casimir, Carl, Joseph and Sophie. Gertrude was a lifelong member of St. Columba Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Food For the Poor: 6401 Lyons Rd., Coconut Creek, FL 33073 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital: 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
