Eva Makara (nee Szpak)

Eva Makara, late of Hegewisch, was born on January 29, 1932. She was a beloved wife of the late Harry Makara for over 66 years. Together, they built a strong and loving family. Eva's devotion to her husband was unwavering and their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

As a mother, Eva was compassionate, loving, and dedicated. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Eva is survived by her son Jerry (Candy) and grandchildren: Nicholas, Jodie, Juliette, Celeste, and Alexander and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sons: Joseph (Madeline), Steve, and John and siblings.

Eva cherished her family and always put them first. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds and she took great joy in being a grandmother. She showered them with affection and guidance, instilling in them the values that were so important to her.

Eva will be remembered for her strength, grace, and genuine kindness. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room she entered. Her warm heart touched the lives of countless people throughout her lifetime. Her selflessness and compassion were truly remarkable. Eva will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the memories she created with all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Eva Makara touched the lives of many with her kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
