Christine Dziadon

September 29, 1965 — November 7, 2024

Christine Dziadon, a woman whose spirit was felt throughout the Hegewisch community, passed on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Known for her vibrant spirit and tenacity, Christine was often described as a "firecracker," igniting passion and enthusiasm in all her pursuits.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Bosak, whose love for her was unwavering. She leaves behind her son Michael Bosak and siblings, Paul “P.J.” Dziadon, and Kim (Colleen McDonald) Dziadon. Christine also cherished her role as a godmother to Valarie Ekhoff, and she took great pride in her many nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will profoundly miss her. In her extended family, Wendy (Art) Appl and Tina Filbert, her sisters-in-law, kept the spirit of togetherness alive.

Christine is now reunited with her family who have passed before her. She is at peace with her siblings, David Dziadon and Debrah (late William) Ann Jean Ekhoff, and her parents, Stanley and Jean “Ginger” Dziadon. Their memories will forever be intertwined with hers, a reminder of the love and laughter shared among them.

She contributed her talents to Gould Security, where her professionalism and warmth shone brightly. Additionally, she was involved with the Hegewisch Business Association showcasing her steadfast belief in community connections. Christine also enjoyed working at Steve's Lounge, where she was not just a staff member but a cherished friend to many patrons.

Christine was an active member of her community, she found joy in helping others. Her involvement with B.A.M., creating "Comfort Bags for the Homeless," showcased her compassionate spirit and unwavering desire to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. She took pride in her accomplishments, particularly her active role in bettering her community.

Though Christine has departed from this world, her legacy of love, community spirit, and fierce determination will forever echo in the lives she touched. She taught us to embrace our passions, to lend a hand to the downtrodden, and most importantly, to love fiercely. The void left by her absence is immeasurable, but her light will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Christine can be made to B.A.M. (Bag and Mats For Those in Need)  or Advocate Trinity Hospital.
