Chester Ogorek

Age 91, late of Dowagiac, MI and formerly of Hegewisch (1927 to 2014), passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. Chester was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Sophie and siblings Walter, Stephanie, Veronica, Stanley, Eugene and survived by his sister Balbina Gabrys. Chester proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was like his mother's homemade bread; crusty on the outside soft on the inside.  He loved animals, was an expert puzzle solver and avid reader especially of historical novels.
