Luz Padilla

Age 93, late of Slag Valley, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Patricio Padilla. Loving mother of Lino (Veronica) Cabrera, Patricia (Sergio) Freyre, Antonio (Patricia)  Padilla, Louis (Elise CPD) Padilla Retired CPD, Rosa Padilla, Guadalupe (Patrick) Flynn and Carmen (late Luis) Saldaña. Caring grandmother of Veronica, Andres (Elaine), Paula, Teresa (Aaron), Alejandro (Esmeralda), Armando (Ambar), Daniel, Bianca (Joshua), Marissa CPD, Christine, Louis, Nadine (Rodrigo), Hilda, Lucinda, Gilbert (Jacqueline), Michael, Luis E. Jr. CFD and Miranda Nicole CPD Recruit. Proud great grandmother of 19. Dear sister and aunt of many.

Luz was a proud member of the Guadalupanas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She loved to cook for her family and made award winning salsas. Luz had a passion for gardening, growing vegetables, flowers and enjoyed the outdoors.

Luz era una orgullosa miembra de las Guadalupanas en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Le encantaba cocinar para su familia e hizo salsas premiadas en concursos. Luz tenía una pasión por la jardinería, el cultivo de verduras, flores y disfrutaba del aire libre.
