Age 87, late of Hegewisch, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Alvin J. Schichner. Loving mother of Paul (Julie), Dale (Jill) and Todd (Jennifer) Schichner. Proud grandmother of Dennis, Stephanie and Arik Schichner. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Lillian and Ralph Missal. She served the community for over 20 years at Hegewisch Community Committee. In years past, Marlene enjoyed bowling at Hegewisch Lanes. She was a lifelong Cubs fan and a devout member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hegewisch.
